Toronto Raptors Training Camp - October 2017
This fall, The Revolution was invited to attend an exclusive clinic with the Toronto Raptors coaching staff. Coach Casey and his entire staff spent two hours with Revolution hoopers, providing instruction and skill development. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for the most dedicated Revolutionaries, who joined the Raptors at their west coast training facility in Burnaby.
As the Raptors players finished practice, The Revolution took over their court, playing under the bright lights (literally) of the NBA. With well wishes from Demar Derozan, Cory Joseph and Demarre Carroll, our young ballers got to work under the tutelage of the Raptors' coaches. The players received t-shirts, head bands, and memories to last a lifetime.

in the summer of 2014
One of the mandates of the Revolution Basketball Club is to provide training and mentoring opportunities for our coaches.
In May and June, Revolution coaches led the Fraser Valley North U14 Boys zone team to a silver medal at Basketball BC's U14 Jamboree. Four players were invited to attend the provincial team tryouts, and three were selected for the U14 BC Provincial Team.
Revolution coaches took three U13 Fraser Valley Zone 3 Boys teams to the BC Summer Games in Nanaimo in July. The boys played in Basketball BC's first ever 3/3 event, and Team Purple brought home the gold medal. The experience at the BC Games provided memories that will last a lifetime.

The Revolution is thrilled to be working with Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Parks and Leisure Services, offering programs and building relationships within the community.
We were so excited to be invited to attend this amazing workshop on Physical Literacy, led by Canadian Sport for Life (CS4L) Leadership Team member Dr. Dean Kreillaars, a world renowned expert in physical literacy.
Raptors Training Camp in Vancouver - October 2014
The Toronto Raptors were in Vancouver over the weekend, preparing for the upcoming NBA season and offering opportunities for local basketball players and coaches, and many members of the Revolution Basketball Club were thrilled to be involved.
Sisters Mika and Emiko Nagai, who play on the Revolution's U14 Girls Elite team, were invited to participate in the Raptors Community Basketball Clinic on Thursday, October 02, 2014. The players worked on basketball skills, led by members of the Raptors Coaching Staff and Alumni.
Thirteen year old Mika picked up lots of great tips from the clinic, and really enjoyed the experience. Emiko, a grade six student at Kanaka Creek Elementary, said, "It was really fun because the Raptor mascot was there, running around and playing with us." The girls were impressed by the speed and skill of the NBA players.

In October, Coach Kate had the opportunity to attend Canada Basketball's "Coach School with the Raptors," which allowed for exclusive access to
Raptors practices and training sessions.
Highlights included presentations and clinics with leaders in Canada Basketball, and a Coach's Roundtable discussion with Head Coach Dwane Casey and his Raptors coaching staff.
